ID Artist auditions are open to various skill set combinations. You will be asked to indicate your area of skill and focus in these categories: cutting, styling and colouring. You can select just one, or maybe all three if you wish! It is important to note that during your audition you need to explain and showcase your chosen skill area(s). Entrants must be employees engaged as a hairdresser, colourist and/ or stylist working in a hair salon in the UK or ROI which has a valid L’Oréal salon stockist account on the L’Oréal Partner Shop: www.lorealpartnershop. com/uk or www.lorealpartnershop.com/ie. Open to UK and ROI residents 18+.
Auditions are by digital entry only and include two formal audition steps:
Step 1: Submit an audition video showcasing a complete total look on a live model
Step 2: Successful entrants from Step 1: A virtual interview with a panel of experts

Step 1: Submit an audition video showcasing a live model:
• Prepare a complete total look featuring a live model based on something that inspires you.
• Present this look and explain how you achieved the look, including the techniques and products used.
• The video must involve cutting/styling or colour result (or a combination) using only L’Oréal Professionnel Paris styling and/or colouring products. It should be based on the skill areas you are wanting to profile to the judges.
• Video must be landscape, against a clear background and must be at least 90 seconds in length, but should not exceed 5 minutes.
• You do not need to include footage of the process and the video does not need to be to a professional level.
Step 2: A virtual interview with a panel of experts:
Successful entrants from Step 1, will be sent a time slot in order to have a 10-minute virtual interview with the panel of judges. The judges will be asking a series of questions regarding the technical and thought process of the look presented in the audition video. Interview date: 16 February 2026.

Minimum Terms and Conditions:
UK and ROI residents 18+. Entries open 09:00 (UK time) 05/01/2026 until 23:59 (UK time) 16/01/2026. Entrants must be employees engaged as a hairdresser, colourist and/or stylist working in a hair salon in the UK or ROI which has a valid L'Oréal salon stockist account on the L'Oréal Partner Shop: https://www.lorealpartnershop.com/uk or https://www.lorealpartnershop.com/ie. For your chance to win: (1) You must have a L'Oréal ACCESS account and enrol on the "ID Artist Auditions 2026" waitlist (the "Waitlist") by 17:00 (UK time) 15/01/2026. If you enrol on the Waitlist before 09:00 (UK time) 05/01/2026, you will receive an email with a link to the website where you will be required to submit your audition video. If you enrol on or after this time, this link will be presented to you online at the point of the completion of your enrolment. (2) When entries open at 09:00 (UK time) 05/01/2026, upload an audition video featuring a live model with a complete look created by you relating to something that inspires you by 23:59 (UK time) 16/01/2026, involving cutting, styling and/or a colour result using only L’Oréal Professionnel Paris products. In the video, you must also explain how you achieved the look, including the techniques and products used. The audition video must (i) be at least 90 seconds in length but should not exceed 5 minutes; (ii) be recorded against a clear background; (iii) not include reference to L'Oréal competitor products or brands; and (iv) be created in accordance with the UK government's health and safety guidelines. (3) If you are successful after the first round of judging taking place between 26/01/2026 and 30/01/2026, you will receive an interview date and time slot to participate in a 10-minute virtual interview with the judging panel on the 16/02/2026. 12 winners will be selected by the judging panel following the virtual interviews. Each winner will receive a place on the L'Oréal Professionnel Paris ID Artist Programme 2026-2027 (running from 24 March 2026 to 31 December 2027) which cannot be deferred. The prize includes a minimum of 5 days of inspirational and educational hairdressing workshops or stylist opportunities (such as backstage work at fashion shows, demonstrations at trade events or colleges, and/or stage presentations at industry events) per year of the programme. The first event will take place on 24/03/2026 and 25/03/2026. Later dates for 2026 and 2027 will be confirmed in advance. The prize includes economy travel and accommodation to and from the workshops and opportunities. There may be additional opportunities other than the 5 days of workshops and opportunities per year but only access to the event is included in these cases – any travel costs or other requirements will be each winner's responsibility.
