If your client has a long grown out pre-lightener, you need to approach it differently to your usual application. How do you know if you have a long regrowth? The marker is a 1.5cm long regrowth. This tutorial explains why you need to approach it differently and the two step process:


Step 1: Apply to the mid-band area


Step 2: When lifted half way, apply to the roots globally


A long regrowth application helps to avoid banding, to maintain the integrity of the hair and makse sure you do not overlap on existing pre-lightener.
