Principles of Color - Theory
What is hair color? When, how and why do we color hair? This class is designed to provide an in-depth understanding of Redken’s hair color portfolio, and the foundation of hair color principles and formulation. Build your skill set and color expertise, and learn how color works in the hair and when you might reach for one product over the other.
What will you learn?
- Rediscover the law of hair color, the hair color wheel and the level systems
- Learn about hair composition, natural, gray and white hair
- Learn about Hydrogen Peroxide and Alkaline Agents, as well as the different color offerings we have in the color portfolio and the effect they have on the hair
- Use the Style Station app for formulation tips, look book ideas and other resources to increase revenue and customer satisfaction
Who is the ideal student?
- Colorists who are currently performing haircolor services and may or may not be new to the Redken hair color family
